Asian Paints Smartcare PU Magnum 25Kg is a high-performance, single-component polyurethane waterproofing membrane designed to provide excellent waterproofing protection for a wide range of surfaces. It is ideal for areas exposed to water and moisture, such as roofs, terraces, balconies, and wet areas like bathrooms and kitchens. The product cures to form a seamless, elastomeric membrane that is highly durable and flexible, capable of withstanding extreme weather conditions, UV radiation, and thermal fluctuations.

* Applicability even on irregular substrates.
* An affordable and reliable solution for waterproofing.
* Availability in white.

* AREAS OF APPLICATION:

• Flat roofs, balconies, underneath tile layers in kitchens, bathrooms, balconies and flat roofs, as long as quartz sand has been broadcasted on its last layer.
• Under thermal insulation boards on flat roofs.
• Gypsum and cement boards, old layers of bituminous or EPDM membranes.
• Polyurethane foam, metal surfaces.
• In construction works, such as highways, bridge decks, tunnels, foundations.

* PHYSICAL PARAMETERS:

• Colour — Available in white.
• Packaging — 25 kg.
• Shelf Life — 12 months from production date, if stored in original, unopened packaging, at temperatures between +5 C and +35 Protect from direct sun exposure and frost.

PRECAUTIONS:

• Surface preparation – remove surface undulation by using repair polymer or polymer modified plaster.
• Dilution of epoxy primer should be 10-30 % (by weight).
• Rate of application of epoxy primer 150 g -200 g for per square meter.
• Moisture content (%) of primed surface should be less than 4% prior to PU magnum.
• Rate of application – PU magnum per coat should be 500 g per square.
• Time interval between 2 coats – 6-8 hrs.
• Epoxy primer drying time – 24 – 48 hrs depends on atmospheric condition.
