Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP SBR Latex

Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP SBR Latex is based on modified styrene butadiene latex supplied as a ready to use bonding agent in liquid consistency. It is used for repair of spalled concrete – floors, columns, beams, chhajas, slabs & waterproofing of toilets & bathrooms, small terraces etc. as it bonds strongly to old & new concrete and to plasters. It reduces shrinkage, prevents cracking, dust pick up & improves abrasion resistance.

Features of Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP 301:

• Multipurpose – It is multipurpose & economical product, easy to use.
• Cracking – It prevents cracking by improving flexural strength.
• Hardness – Improves the hardness & prevents dust generation.
• Shrinkage – Reduces drying & aging shrinkage cracks.
• Bonding – Bonds strongly to concrete, masonry, stonework, plasters, cementitious surfaces.
• Erosion & corrosion – Improves erosion resistance & prevents corrosion.
• Abrasion resistance – Improves abrasion resistance of the cement mix.
• Grouting – Reduces viscosity of cement injection grout for better fluidity & bonding.

Dosage:

• As a waterproofing coating – Mix proportion by volume 1:1.5 (Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: Cement).
• As a mortar modifier – 10-15 % of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP by weight of cement.
• As a bonding agent – Mix proportion by volume; 1:1 (Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP: Cement).

Coverage of Dr Fixit Pidicrete URP 301:

• As a waterproofing coating – 2 – 2.2 m2/kg in 2 coats.
• As a mortar modifier – 6-7.5 kg of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP per 50 kg of cement.
• As a bonding agent – 4.2 – 4.5 m2/kg per coat.

Shelf Life:

• Best before one and half years from the date manufacture when in sealed pack and stored under proper condition.
• Store in a cool & dry place in unopened condition away from direct sunlight.

Precautions & Limitations:

• Recommended dosage to be followed to achieve desired results.
• When working in hot temperature conditions, extra water may be added to the repair mortar to compensate for the evaporation loss & make the mortar workable.

Health & Safety Precautions:

• Cementitious mortars & slurries modified with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP when mixed or when become damp, may release alkali which can be harmful to skin & eye.
• Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves, eye protection and respiratory protective equipment during application.
• I n case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of clean water and then cleanse with soap water.
• I n case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice.
