Dr. Fixit Sureseal for Wall Dampness 20L

Dr. Fixit Sureseal for Roof & Wall Dampness 20L is single component specially designed waterproof protective coating that prevents damp patches on Internal & External walls & Roof of building. When cured forms breathable, very tough yet elastic film which develops strong bonding to damp surfaces and does not allow water to pass through. Dr. Fixit Sureseal is tintable may be applied over previous exterior coatings in sound condition.

Application Areas of Dr. Fixit Sureseal for Wall Dampness 20L:

• Waterproof coating for internal walls affected with dampness.
• Masonry walls that are adjacent to bathrooms, kitchens.
• Patch work coating for Roof, Parapet walls and chajjas.

Precautions & Limitations:

• Do not dilute “Dr. Fixit Sureseal”.
• All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall be coated with extra coat.
• Always cover an area larger (minimum 2 Sft for internal walls & 5 Sft on either side for external walls and Roof).
• Please ensure that all the pores, corners and joints of the walls are filled with the coating during brushing
• Do not apply when ambient temperature is below 100C or above 350C.
• Damp patch/patches at ground level or close to the ground could be caused by rising damp due to high ground water level, A Damproof coating with suitable polymer re plastering is required on the external wall of the damp and internal walls to protect it from water.
• Do not apply Dr. Fixit Sureseal over surface affected with efflorescence.
• In case of severe leakage in pipes or the tile joints of the wall adjoining bathroom / kitchen, have a plumber identify the source and repair it before treating the internal wall.
• Patch repair on roof & external walls provides temporary relief. Ideal recommendation solution is to go for comprehensive waterproofing on entire surface.

Theoretical Coverage*
Minimum coverage: 2 to 2.5 Sq.mtrs/kg/ in two coats to achieve a DFT of 150 – 170 microns.

Shelf Life & Storage:

• Shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacturing in unopened conditions. To be stored in original and unopened packaging in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight.
• Recommend temperatures of (10°– 35°Celsius) for storage of Dr. Fixit Sureseal and anything below 10° Celsius and above 30° Celsius is certainly not recommended.

Health & Safety Precautions:

• Skin Contact: Wash skin with soap & water. Remove contaminated clothes.
• On eye contact: Immediately splash eyes with plenty of water. Consult Physician if irritation persists.
• Ingestion: It is based on Water Based Coating system, however, seek medical help.
